Good day to one and all! I hope you all had a great 4th of July yesterday, but it is time to get back down to business. So today I have a guest article for you; and I’m changing things up here, just because I like to keep things fresh! So this one is about Pilates and was written by Lyndsey from where you can find offers on different gyms throughout London, so check it out if you are in the area!

Pilates is an exercise which uses a combination of different techniques which are designed to help you achieve a more toned and healthier body. It is an exercise which will not only help you maintain a healthy weight, but will also help reduce stress levels through the use of correct breathing techniques. If you are looking to try out Pilates, there are some tips to keep in mind to get the most from your workout.

Choose the right level

If you are trying out Pilates with a personal trainer, the trainer will usually take you through it at your own pace, at a level to suit you. If you are trying a Pilate’s class, you can usually find them at various levels, from beginner to advanced, and it is important to start at a level to suit your experience and level of fitness. If you do this, you won’t feel out of your depth and will be more likely to enjoy the class to its fullest.

Work with a qualified instructor

It is important that your Pilates instructor is qualified to teach Pilates; otherwise you may not be performing the techniques correctly, which can easily cause injury. If you are selecting your Pilates online, you can usually source information on the instructor via the website, which will inform you of the qualifications of the instructor. You should look out for ‘certified Pilate’s instructor’, so you know they are qualified to teach you.

Be prepared for your class

There are many different types of Pilate’s classes, including mat classes and reformer classes. If you are joining a mat class, you should take along a mat with you, and also plenty of water. The reformer classes make use of a range of equipment, so you would not usually be expected to take anything along with you. Wear comfortable clothing for your class, such as leggings or shorts, which will ensure you keep cool throughout the class. You would usually undertake a mat class without wearing any footwear, as this is the most effective way to perform the various techniques.

Challenge Yourself

Start off with the beginners’ class, but don’t stay there forever! The best way to ensure you improve is to move up the levels as you become more advanced. If you do this then you will always be challenging yourself, which means you will become fitter and will continue to reap the benefits. As soon as the moves start to become a little too easy, it is time to move onto your next class.

About My Treadmill Reviews

TreadmillMy treadmill reviews are both subjective and objective. They are objective in the sense that I will provide you with information about each machine, such as motor, weight capacity and other features. But they are subjective in the sense that I am really giving my opinion of each treadmill. You may agree or disagree with my opinion, but my hope is that my elliptical and treadmill reviews can be helpful to you in making a decision on what to buy. Remember that each review is just what I think. You can always check out Treadmill Doctor, Treadmill Review Guru or these other treadmill reviews if you want another opinion.
