Hey! Today I’m going to write about the Smooth 9.35 HR. There is a lesson to learn in this treadmill that often gets overlooked. Someone would look at the specs of this machine and compare it to..lets say the NordicTrack C900, and ask why is this one twice as much when they have practically the same specs?
The lesson is, that specs aren’t everything. A lot of the value of a treadmill comes down to quality. The problem is, it’s hard for treadmill companies to explain to customers why their treadmills may have better quality. The only thing customers see is the list of specs. Treadmill companies understand this, so they’ll cut all sorts of corners, compromising important quality matters in order to cut down their costs so they can add all sorts of features.
Things that customers don’t see are things like: material used, quality of the components, how well it’s put together, electrical & technical soundness, etc..These things contribute to a treadmills durability. In order for a treadmill to continue performing well after hundreds of hours of being pounded by runners, it needs to be made with good quality. If not, its performance will eventually rub itself down to junky status. Then if you want to keep the treadmill you will need to maintain it with expensive repairs.
Now how are you supposed to know how high quality a treadmill is? The things you should look at are the brand, the price class, the warranty, and reviews on it. Come to sites like mine or Treadmill doctor’s, treadmill ratings, or others to find out.
Now, back to the Smooth 9.35 HR.

This treadmill has great features, great specs, and great quality. The price range that it’s in pits it up against some hard competitors, but this one is up with the winners from what we’ve seen. You won’t go wrong with this treadmill. Especially if it’s on sale.
