SmoothThe Yowza Keewadin Treadmill

Ohaiyou Gozaimasu! Today’s review is a from a brand that we’ve never reviewed before. Yowza! The Yowza Keewadin is a quick selling treadmill these days so I figured we could check it out.

Yowza is one of the only treadmill and elliptical companies who manufacture their own treadmills. In America, they are still underdogs, but are gaining popularity quick. They’re most popular in Europe, and are known in other areas as GreenMaster. They have no retail stores anywhere, they are a strictly online business, which allows them to offer the machines for cheaper.

They recently received a 5 star rating from TopConsumerReports.com, which is a pretty big deal. The rating was rewarded mainly for their highly rated customer service and high quality treadmills. TopConsumerReports.com said “Yowza Fitness also backs up their…machines with an exceptional warranty that includes lifetime frame and braking system coverage, five year parts and two year in-home service. If you’re looking for an outstanding…machine at an affordable price, Yowza Fitness should be your first stop.” Pretty good words from a top review site. He was talking about their ellipticals, but their treadmills are rated just as highly.

With all the popularity they’re gaining I decided to add them to my categories and start reviewing their treadmills as well. I figure many of you will be considering them and probably buying them so why not fill you in?

Their current best-selling treadmill is the Keewadin. It’s one of their most expensive, but it appears to be worth the money if it’s in your budget. The Quality and Usability of this machine deserves high marks.

The Specs are pretty good, but as usual they don’t say it all. The Keewadin has a 3.0CHP continuous duty motor (very quiet), a durable 20″x60″ running belt, 350lb weight limit, a uni-body steel powder-coated frame, 11MPH Speed, 12% Incline, and a nifty swing arm cushioning system (you could check out how that works on their site).

Other Features:

  • Ipod Dock
  • High Fidelity Speakers
  • Wireless Chest Pulse Heart Rate Sensor
  • Hand Grip Sensors
  • Sweet high tech console with LED display
  • 2 water bottle holders
  • 9 user slots
  • All sorts of preprogrammed workouts and functions

The warranty is one of the best in the industry providing you with a lifetime coverage on the frame and motor, 5 years on parts, and 2 years in-home labor. Or you can extend that plan for extra cost.

The cushioning system is unique and effective, and the look and feel of the treadmill simply feel good. It’s completely solid, and it’s built from the inside out to last for a very long time.

Before buying any treadmill check this one out first, see if you like it. Good luck!

About My Treadmill Reviews

TreadmillMy treadmill reviews are both subjective and objective. They are objective in the sense that I will provide you with information about each machine, such as motor, weight capacity and other features. But they are subjective in the sense that I am really giving my opinion of each treadmill. You may agree or disagree with my opinion, but my hope is that my elliptical and treadmill reviews can be helpful to you in making a decision on what to buy. Remember that each review is just what I think. You can always check out Treadmill Doctor, Treadmill Review Guru or these other treadmill reviews if you want another opinion.
