The Golds Gym 570 Crosswalk is an economy treadmill for those who want a machine that they don’t have to sell their car to buy, and at the same time, have it last for many years. This is a hard combination to find, but the Golds Gym Crosswalk 570 comes as close as any to that perfect combination.
One of the reasons this treadmill won the Consumer Magazine best buy was because first of all it’s remarkably inexpensive, and the specifications are exceptional in this price range. The list of features are what you would expect to find on treadmills twice this price. The strength and quality is that of a higher class treadmill. The deck is strong enough to hold a 300lb runner without straining. The Motor is 2.25 Horsepower that performs quietly and smoothly. The whole drive system functions seamlessly. It’s quiet, smooth, strong, and stable.
The Crosswalk feature is another selling point on this treadmill. Two arm holds are connected to the frame that you can hang onto as you run. They swing back and forth as you run and allow you to get your arms involved in the exercise. Some people may enjoy them, but most people probably won’t use them. Although they are advertised as a a big deal, they aren’t the most exciting feature on the treadmill.
