Lifespan PRO3 Treadmill Review

From a layman‘s perspective, the Lifespan PRO3 Treadmill has it all. This machine won‘t let you down when you peek behind the curtain. This machine is admirably and brilliantly constructed. We love it! And for the price (i.e. we have seen it as low as $2,000) …. Huba, huba!

Lifespan does something a little different with the PRO models and uses larger tubing for better rigidity, and strength. The Lifespan PRO3 Treadmill has a wider base frame. This helps improve the stability. The treadmill features a reversible commercial deck and lightweight but durable aluminum rails. What does this mean for you?

The PRO3 is a machine you can purchase and essentially keep forever if you take care of it. With the extra attention to small details, it gives you the advantages of many commercial treadmills while the machine is priced attractively for the home considering the quality level. In other words, it is built for the gym but priced for the home.

The Lifespan PRO3’s Dura-Max Dive System starts with a solid 3.0 hp dc motor, and a 1,000lb central mount incline motor. The treadmill has a spacious 22” x 60” running area. Because of its extra large belt size the Pro 3 allows users to run and jog freely without fear of falling off the back or stepping off onto the side rails. It has a maximum user weight of 350 lbs.

The console offers a combination of LCD and LED display. The three (3) LED display windows offers information about the speed, time, distance, incline, heart rate and calories all at the same time. The heart rate monitor is fed from the EKG grip pulse sensors built into the handle bars or a heart rate chest strap. A body mass analysis displays your metabolic rate and body fat percentage. Sounds complicated? Don’t worry ‘bout it…Lifespan is not only one of the most technologically advanced companies out there but they also test…test…test to ensure a quality experience.

Lifespan’s Intelli-Key Smart Lighting System will help guide you through your first couple of workouts until you get the hang of things. Each console button will flash in blue in proper sequence to help get you going.

Some additional features of the Lifespan PRO3 Treadmill are:

  • Speed and incline control buttons are located on the handle bar for quick and easy acces
  • 15 incline levels of incline & speeds from .5 to 12 MPH
  • Pre-Programmed Workouts include a 5K, a 10K, two heart rate, five incline, and five speed programs
  • Two Customizable Programs allow you choose the incline and speed for each workout segment.

This Lifespan PRO3 Treadmill has an excellent Residential Warranty for its price. It comes with a lifetime warranty for frame and motor, 5 years on parts, and 2 years on labor.

Are you are serious about exercise and fitness? Are you more interested in real data and aids to assist you in your workout vs. all the bling, bling that’s out there? If so, the Lifespan PRO3 Treadmill is for you.

About My Treadmill Reviews

TreadmillMy treadmill reviews are both subjective and objective. They are objective in the sense that I will provide you with information about each machine, such as motor, weight capacity and other features. But they are subjective in the sense that I am really giving my opinion of each treadmill. You may agree or disagree with my opinion, but my hope is that my elliptical and treadmill reviews can be helpful to you in making a decision on what to buy. Remember that each review is just what I think. You can always check out Treadmill Doctor, Treadmill Review Guru or these other treadmill reviews if you want another opinion.
