Ohiyo! Greetings loyal readers! I have noticed lately that all the treadmill reviews out there for the popular machines are getting, well, the same. Everyone says the same thing and gives you the same info about all the same machines. I wanted to try and fix that with a new series called “At A Glance.”
People say a monster truck is a car on steroids. Well, if machines truly can be on steroids, then the NordicTrack X9i Incline Trainer is a treadmill on steroids. When it comes to the incline trainer family of treadmills, the X9i is king.
The NordicTrack Incline Trainer X5i
Ohiyo! Recently I reviewed the NoricTrack Incline Trainer X7i. The most popular Incline Trainer on the market. Now, today I want to review its little brother, the Nordictrack Incline Trainer X5i. The reason I want to review this as well, even though they’re almost the exact same, is because…Well, that’s just it, because they’re practically the same thing, yet the price difference is huge.
So much emphasis has been placed on the X7i, that everyone has practically forgotten about this X5i model. The X5i is about $1,400 while the X7i is around $2000. What’s the difference between the two?
Well, as far as parts and materials and design, they’re practically identical. The Motor on the X5i is quite a bit smaller (2.25CHP vs 3.0CHP), which is the main difference between the two. However, on both, the motors are covered by a lifetime warranty. The warranties on the two are the exact same. Lifetime on frame and motor, 1 year on parts and labor.
The Nordictrack Incline Trainer X7i
The NordicTrack Incline Trainer X7i has received a lot of advertising all over the place. And I mean a lot! I’ve seen dozens of TV commercials, and banner ads all over the web for it. On the Nordictrack website, there are 6 full pages dedicated to it! All the other treadmills only get 1 page.
The advertisements claim that at 40% incline you burn 5x more calories than on a normal treadmill. I’m not a health expert, so I can’t verify that, but i do know that using it at 40% incline is one of the most intense runs I’ve ever done. So I would imagine they’re right. The muscles targeted in an incline trainer are the thighs and the calves. It takes hardly any time at all to realize that when using it.
The NordicTrack Reflex 4500 Pro
Top of the morning to you in Hawaii! To anyone else, good afternoon, good evening, or good night.
The machine I’m going to review to day is the Nordictrack Reflex 4500 Pro. A while back I reviewed the Reflex 8500, but that’s out of stock right now, and I really do like these reflex machines, so I used that as an excuse to write another about this one. Although they’re almost identical, there are a enough differences to make them worthy of each having their own reviews.
The NordicTrack Elite 9700 Pro Treadmill
OHIYO!
A while back I wrote a review about the NordicTrack Elite 9500 Pro. I said that it was the most elite treadmill ever offered by Nordictrack. Well, I was close. There is one with a little more bang. The Elite 9700 is a step up from the 9500. There really isn’t a huge difference. On the outside the treadmills look practically identical. However, there are a few upgrades that may persuade you to spend the extra money for this one.
Nordictrack really went all out with this treadmill. I’m not sure what more they could offer on a treadmill. This is the most functional, powerful, sturdy, and quality treadmill ever offered by Nordictrack. The main feature of this treadmill is the amazing 4.0 Horsepower Commercial Pro Motor. This motor is the strongest motor used in any Nordictrack treadmill. Its extra strength will keep it from ever wearing out, and it will keep quieter than other treadmills. It has a lifetime motor warranty too, so you’ll never have to worry about the motor wearing itself out.
The NordicTrack A2750 Pro
Hello Hello Hello!
The machine on stage today is going to be the NordicTrack A2750 Pro treadmill. One of the most popular treadmills of the year. The thing that draws people to this treadmill is first, the price, and then the specs, features, warranty, and quality. Then they take a double-take at the price to make sure it’s correct. At the current price of under $1000, this machine is a big player in that price class. Seldom to we see treadmills that offer so much, priced so low.
The NordicTrack A2550
Ohiyo! There’s been some hot selling treadmills lurking around that still don’t have any reviews from me, so I picked one out and checked it out so I could write about it. The NordicTrack A2550 Pro was the one I grabbed up, so if you’ve been thinking about buying this one, or just looking for good advice, this review will be good.
The A2550 Pro is designed for lightweight running. If you’re a heavy person, you get the raw end of the deal because you naturally need stonger treadmill, which will costs more. If you’re a light runner, you can be safe in the sub-$1000′s. Although, still you’ll be compromising quality in some areas.
Nordictrack does very well in this price range. Compared to other brands their treadmills offer the most functionality, and often raw strength and quality. The A2550 is right in that alley. It has a lot of great features that you don’t usually find on a treadmill at this price, as well as high marked specs usually found in higher-end treadmills.
The NordicTrack Commercial 1750 Treadmill
OHIYO YO CHI BA! I know you’ve all been itching for another story. Seriously who can live without their daily fill of treadmill enlightenment? Today my review is about the NordicTrack Commercial 1750. One of the Best Buy Winners of this year, and with a good chance to stay that way for the coming year.
The reason this is a Best Buy, I suppose is for the same reason any treadmill wins a Best Buy. We measure the quality of the treadmill versus the price. The quality of this treadmill for the price of it is exceptional. NordicTrack has been stepping up to the plate and hitting some serious home runs these past few years. The Commercial 1750 is a prime example. For the price, you just can’t find a better treadmill right now. The regular price of this is more where it belongs, coming in at $2,999 MSRP. That actually may be a little steep, seeing as you’re coming into Landice Territory. But a bit less than that would be about right. However, with sale price being $1,499, why would anyone go with something else? The price has been cut in half. If you’re looking for a treamill in the mid $1,500′s range, here it is. A one-stop go-home offer.
The NordicTrack Reflex 8500 Pro:
Hello! I’m back with some pretty interesting stuff today. While checking out endless lines of treadmills (which is what I do all day), a certain one caught my attention: The NordicTrack Reflex 8500 Pro. At first I just thought it looked weird, so I decided to give it a good inspection to see if its any good. After really looking into it, it became one of my new favorites.

My treadmill reviews are both subjective and objective. They are objective in the sense that I will provide you with information about each machine, such as motor, weight capacity and other features. But they are subjective in the sense that I am really giving my opinion of each treadmill. You may agree or disagree with my opinion, but my hope is that my elliptical and treadmill reviews can be helpful to you in making a decision on what to buy. Remember that each review is just what I think. You can always check out
