A while back I wrote a review about the NordicTrack Elite 9500 Pro. I said that it was the most elite treadmill ever offered by Nordictrack. Well, I was close. There is one with a little more bang. The Elite 9700 is a step up from the 9500. There really isn’t a huge difference. On the outside the treadmills look practically identical. However, there are a few upgrades that may persuade you to spend the extra money for this one.
Nordictrack really went all out with this treadmill. I’m not sure what more they could offer on a treadmill. This is the most functional, powerful, sturdy, and quality treadmill ever offered by Nordictrack. The main feature of this treadmill is the amazing 4.0 Horsepower Commercial Pro Motor. This motor is the strongest motor used in any Nordictrack treadmill. Its extra strength will keep it from ever wearing out, and it will keep quieter than other treadmills. It has a lifetime motor warranty too, so you’ll never have to worry about the motor wearing itself out.
The weight limit is 375 lbs, compared to the 350 lb limit on the 9500. Its deck is just somewhat stronger. This treadmill has 34 programs on it rather than the 28 offered on the 9500. And last, but not least, there is an 8″ Fan on this treadmill not found on the other.
