Hello everybody and welcome to another Treadmill Review At A Glance! I am actually pretty excited for this one; the treadmill I have today is the Smooth 9.65LC.
The Smooth 9.65LC Treadmill
Hello Everyone! I realize the world is in a frenzy right now waiting in eager anticipation for my next treadmill review.. Relax. I’m back. With sore legs and a sore back after being persuaded to try going skimboarding with some friends on the river. It sounded like fun at the time…
Anyway, the treadmill I’m inclined to write about is the Smooth 9.65LC. When it comes to value, this is one of the best treadmills in the in-home market ($0 – $3000). The Treadmill is usually around $2,000, or a little higher. It’s actually the exact same as the 9.65 TV, just without the TV, and for a few hundred dollars less. If it were me, I’d go with this treadmill over the TV treadmill, and just buy a separate TV. You can get a bigger and better TV for the extra money you would have spent for the TV model.
The Smooth 9.45 TV Treadmill
Hello! Got a treadmill review for you today from one of my favorite treadmill companies, Smooth Fitness. They are somewhat new, starting in 1984, and then going online in 1996. Now they sell 90% of their products online. This is good for the consumer because it keeps us from paying for the dealers and all the extra expenses that come with that. And honestly, they do a good job at keeping their prices down.
The Smooth 9.65TV
HELLO HELLO HELLO!
I know you’ve all been waiting anxiously, wondering when in the world is that Treadmill Sensei ever going to write a review about the Smooth 9.65 TV? Right? Well, for all you that have been on the edge of your seat waiting for this..This is your lucky day! I know there are a lot of you. For you who haven’t been wondering about this treadmill, you may as well read. You may learn something.
The Smooth 9.65TV is a large, non-folding treadmill capable of moving mountains. Well.. Almost. At least it’s capable of moving really heavy people up and down virtual mountains. The hype of this treadmill comes from its exceptional SmoothDrive 4.0 CHP Quiet, Strong, and Powerful motor. One of the strongest motors in home treadmills on the market.
The Smooth 6.75 Treadmill
Hello Hello Hello! The treadmill for today is the Smooth 6.75 treadmill, one of the quick sellers of the Smooth series. And in my opinion, one of the most aesthetically pleasing machines on the market in the $1000′s range. The functionality of this treadmill seems to work like a charm. The drive system all works together great and the belt glides along the deck like butter. The motor is built to be as silent as possible, and the cushioning absorbs a lot of the sound of running. What comes from this is a quiet, soft, smooth, and stable run.
The Smooth 5.65 Treadmill
Hello Today! Does anyone have a treadmill from Smooth? Even more specifically a smooth 5.65? If you do, leave a comment on this article telling a little how you like it. I know that smooth is capable of delivering some great higher-end treadmills, but on their lower end side, I was curious to see if they could do the same. The review today is on the Smooth 5.65 Treadmill. Where do we begin? This is the cheapest of the Smooth brand treadmills, so it gets a lot of sales. But I wanted to check to see if it’s worth it.
As far as the comfort goes, it’s about average. The different cushioning systems all sound really exciting, but really they either work, or they don’t, and some of them just plain old don’t do anything. This one, I could feel a little bit, so I’ll say the cushioning works.
The belt was quiet, but the motor got a little loud when we took it up into the maximum speeds. The frame felt solid and durable, and it didn’t squeak or wobble around. The console is a little much. There’s so many small buttons, it’s kind of hard to control while you’re running.
For me, I usually look at the material used in the frame, deck, and components, as well as the way they put it together. These things mean a lot when it comes to endurance. I was slightly impressed with this. It’s made of good solid materials. Obviously it’s not the same as their higher-end machines in the 2000′s range, but for a $1000 machine, it’s better than most in that respect.
The Horizon T203 Treadmill
Hey! Today I’m going to write about the Smooth 9.35 HR. There is a lesson to learn in this treadmill that often gets overlooked. Someone would look at the specs of this machine and compare it to..lets say the NordicTrack C900, and ask why is this one twice as much when they have practically the same specs?
The lesson is, that specs aren’t everything. A lot of the value of a treadmill comes down to quality. The problem is, it’s hard for treadmill companies to explain to customers why their treadmills may have better quality. The only thing customers see is the list of specs. Treadmill companies understand this, so they’ll cut all sorts of corners, compromising important quality matters in order to cut down their costs so they can add all sorts of features.
The The Smooth 7.35 Treadmill
OHIYO! If anyone out there is thinking of buying a Smooth treadmill, hopefully this can help you out. They’re not a bad line of treadmills at all. The Smooth 7.35 is one of the best deals that smooth offers. They have other treadmills with more power and functions, but for the price, in my opinion this is their finest. The parts are pretty sturdy. A lot of treadmills at this price will show off their fancy features and gadgets, but overall they’re a piece of plastic meant more for entertainment than any serious, consistent running. That’s not so with this guy. He’s got a lot of metal where it counts. The parts and design of this treadmill make it feel strong and sturdy while you run. From what it’s made of, it should last a really long time, as long as you don’t exceed the 350lbs weight limit.
The Smooth 9.45 ST Treadmill is a solid and well-built treadmill.
The Smooth 9.45 ST Treadmill is equipped with 3.0 CHP motor, a powerful and yet very quiet motor. It matched with a spacious 20” x 60” tread belt that gives user a comfortable workout experience. The 9.45 ST has a maximum user weight of 400 lb. so you know that it is very strong treadmill. The Smooth 9.45 has a foot print of 81” x 35”.
The Smooth 6.45 is the new treadmill to replace Smooth’s iconic 6.25 model. Although this model is newer, and therefore considered to have numerous flaws, Smooth has eliminated most possible flaws by basing this new treadmill on the 6.25 platform, and includes a modified frame, and many of the same electronics as the 6.25. As a result the 6.45 does not have the usual flaws associated with most new treadmill models.
One of the most noticeable improvements in the 6.45 model over the 6.25 model is the treadmill belt. The belt on the 6.45 is 60” compared to the 6.25 model’s 54” belt. What this means is that taller users and runners will have an easier time running on this treadmill without feeling like falling off the end of the machine.
Another great feature with the 6.45 is Smooth’s shock absorption system. This shock system absorbs a significant amount of stress which would normally be put on your ankles, knees, hips, and your back. Also, unlike other shock absorption systems, this newer system doesn’t give the bounce at the back of the treadmill that is experienced in many other treadmills. Instead the 6.45 is designed for the rear to be tighter than the front, giving the user a firm push off for their stride without the bounce associated with other brands.
With this treadmill’s great price, many improvements, and great 1 year service, and 5 year parts warranty I give the Smooth 6.45 3.5 out of 5 Golden Buddahs.

My treadmill reviews are both subjective and objective. They are objective in the sense that I will provide you with information about each machine, such as motor, weight capacity and other features. But they are subjective in the sense that I am really giving my opinion of each treadmill. You may agree or disagree with my opinion, but my hope is that my elliptical and treadmill reviews can be helpful to you in making a decision on what to buy. Remember that each review is just what I think. You can always check out
