Smooth 9.65TVThe Smooth 9.65TV

HELLO HELLO HELLO!

I know you’ve all been waiting anxiously, wondering when in the world is that Treadmill Sensei ever going to write a review about the Smooth 9.65 TV? Right? Well, for all you that have been on the edge of your seat waiting for this..This is your lucky day! I know there are a lot of you. For you who haven’t been wondering about this treadmill, you may as well read. You may learn something.

The Smooth 9.65TV is a large, non-folding treadmill capable of moving mountains. Well.. Almost. At least it’s capable of moving really heavy people up and down virtual mountains. The hype of this treadmill comes from its exceptional SmoothDrive 4.0 CHP Quiet, Strong, and Powerful motor. One of the strongest motors in home treadmills on the market.

The Console features a large 10.5″ TV. The rest of the treadmill is almost identical to the 9.65LC treadmill. The price jump between the two is about $400 for the addition of the TV. Now, if you’ve read some of my other reviews about TV treadmills you’ll know that I don’t think they’re smart. The TV almost always inevitably ends up breaking due to the constant beating they get from being on the treadmill. It’s especially dangerous when the TV is what displays your important info like speed, distance, and anything else (this one doesn’t). These TVs cost a fortune to fix. And for the extra price that you pay for them, you can usually buy yourself a nicer TV for less, and just mount it to the wall. This is a much better option. You won’t have to worry about the TV breaking, and your important info will still be displayed o on the treadmill regardless of whether you use your TV or not.

Anyhow, besides the TV feature, this is an incredible treadmill. When you can look down at the warranty and see a lifetime guarantee on parts (very rare), you know the manufacturer is serious about it. The quality in the parts of this treadmill is outstanding. Smooth went the extra mile in giving a little more “umph” to each specification. The Motor is 4 Horsepower, the Treadbelt is 21″ x 64″, the rollers are 3″ diameter, the weight capacity is 400 lbs, and more.

Some more specs and features include:

  • 10.5″ TV
  • 12MPH
  • 15% Incline
  • Im-Pression Shock Absorption Cushioning
  • ViviClear Blue Back Lit LCD Display
  • Mp3/Ipod port with Speakers
  • Heart Rate Monitor and Heart Rate Control

From the belt to the frame to the deck to the motor to the console, this treadmill has quality built into ever component. It’s not built to sell, it’s built to last and perform. These are the kind of treadmills you should be looking for when you’re serious about getting a treadmill for life.

About My Treadmill Reviews

TreadmillMy treadmill reviews are both subjective and objective. They are objective in the sense that I will provide you with information about each machine, such as motor, weight capacity and other features. But they are subjective in the sense that I am really giving my opinion of each treadmill. You may agree or disagree with my opinion, but my hope is that my elliptical and treadmill reviews can be helpful to you in making a decision on what to buy. Remember that each review is just what I think. You can always check out Treadmill Doctor, Treadmill Review Guru or these other treadmill reviews if you want another opinion.
