あなたに朝のトップへ! Or in other words, Top of the Morning to you! The treadmill for the day is the Golds Gym Trainer 690!

If you look at the picture you can pretty much see everything it’s got. It’s one basic treadmill. The light deck and frame are meant for light runners. If you’re a serious runner or a heavy runner, you’ll need to spend more on a treadmill if you want it to last. However, if you just run occasionally, and you aren’t very heavy, this treadmill should be able to handle you without much trouble. For a price under $600 you want to be very careful which treadmill you get. If you’re not careful you could easily end up throwing away your money.

Many treadmills in this price range are practically made of cardboard. They’re meant to look good, and work just long enough for their short warranties to expire. The Golds Gym Trainer 690 is made of a skinny frame with a thin, small deck. It’s very light and easy to move around, and gets pretty compact when you fold it up. As far as portability it’s great. The belt is quiet, and the engine is small and you can faintly hear its high RPMs when you get it going at higher speeds. The warranty only covers the engine for 15 years, which is unusual for treadmills. The motor warranty usually lasts for life on most treadmills, however 15 years should be a sufficient amount of time for you to beat the rest of this treadmill into the ground. So that should be the least of your worries.

The console has a small LCD window to track your progress. It comes with a heart rate monitor, and a user weight input to track your calories-burned. There are 12 built-in workouts: 6 calorie-burns and 6 performance. The cushioning is comfortable enough to keep you from feeling jogged on each step.

The main intent for these treadmills is again, for users who are light, gentle, and only run occasionally, who won’t need more expensive treadmill to suit their needs. So if this works for you go for it. It’s a good machine for the class it’s in. Although, for just a few hundred dollars more, you really see a spike in quality, functions, features, and performance. If you can afford it, we would definitely recommend making the jump. It would be well worth the money.

Good luck! Thanks for reading!

About My Treadmill Reviews

TreadmillMy treadmill reviews are both subjective and objective. They are objective in the sense that I will provide you with information about each machine, such as motor, weight capacity and other features. But they are subjective in the sense that I am really giving my opinion of each treadmill. You may agree or disagree with my opinion, but my hope is that my elliptical and treadmill reviews can be helpful to you in making a decision on what to buy. Remember that each review is just what I think. You can always check out Treadmill Doctor, Treadmill Review Guru or these other treadmill reviews if you want another opinion.
