The The Horizon T100 Treadmill
It’s another day in the neighborhood here at Treadmill Sensei. The treadmill of the day is going to be the Horizon T100. One of the most inexpensive treadmills out on the Market. Horizon’s specialty is right in this price range, so if anyone has experience making these kinds of treadmills, Horizon does.
Generally in order to get a treadmill down to this low of a price, there has to be serious chopping and compromising in quality and features. However, if the company knows what they’re doing, they can still produce a good treadmill. If they leave the quality where it matters, and take it out where they can afford to, it can still turn out pretty decent.
Horizon T100 treadmill shows some good skill and understanding on Horizon’s part. It isn’t a children’s toy like you’ll find on a lot of treadmills this price. The T100, although a very lightweight treadmill, will work just fine for most adults. The User Capacity is 275 lbs, so most people won’t have to worry. The frame is strong and covered by a lifetime warranty.
The motor will hold up as long as you don’t drive it too hard. It is a 1.75 Horsepower and it can go up to 10 miles per hour. 1.75 is pretty light, so you would need to be gentle with it if you want it to last a long time. The warranty on it lasts for 7 years, so if anything happens before then, you’re fine. If this treadmill lasts you well for 7 years, it was a great buy.

As you can see this is a very basic treadmill. However, the functionality is good. The features that it does have work well. The frame is solid, the cushioning is real, the motor is quiet, and the console works fine. If you simply can’t afford to go any higher than this on price, then this is a perfect choice. However, for a much better array of options, a few hundred dollars more could really up the quality of your choices.
