The Smooth Agile DMT X2 Elliptical is a well built machine, packed with features that truly lives up to its name. It is Smooth and Agile!
The Smooth Agile DMT X2 Elliptical starts with a rear drive system. It is a simpler design that better captures a true elliptical motion and will eventually lead to less maintenance. The Agile X2 has an adjustable stride length of 18” to 21”. It has a foot print of 74” x 32” and is 63” tall. Fully assembled it weighs 223 lbs.
So why is the Smooth Agile DMT X2 Elliptical so Agile? Part of this answer is due to the pulley system that Smooth uses to accomplish the stride/incline. It doesn’t push the user’s knee out in front as you adjust the stride, as can be the case with most models out there. You want an elliptical to work-out your muscles, not your joints. The adjustable stride is a nice feature when accommodating users of varying height.
The Ergo Adjusting Foot Pedals offer less wear and tear on the ankles and feet. The pedals pivot and rotate with the natural movement of the feet. Now add on to that, a feature that allows you adjust through 12 different ranges of motions and 16 intensity levels. Wow, I am impressed!

A lot of companies are offering some really good warrantees right now and Smooth is as well. Why shouldn’t they? The Smooth Agile DMT X2 Elliptical is a well-deigned, high quality machine. The warrantee features lifetime on frame & brakes, 5 years on parts & electronics, and two year in home service. I suggest considering an extended warrantee with any elliptical.
The Smooth Agile DMT X2 Elliptical is not cheap at $2,000, including inside delivery. I like when you can actually get something for the advertised price. This is a machine that will offer long lasting service, and over the course of time will save you money.
